Penlee Park new inclusive play area
Inclusive play was top of the wish list for Penzance Town Council when they asked Outdoor Play People to design & quote to revamp Penlee Parks Junior Play Area.
Armed with a budget figure and a design brief we set to work on creating a play area that would make the most of the natural terrain.
We also wanted it to settle in and be in keeping with the natural look of Penlee Park. (Its a beautiful Park).
It was important to ensure that most of the design was accessible to wheelchair users and that the equipment offered fun challenges for all.
We were also able to utilise their existing slide which saved a chunk of their budget.
The play area includes: –

The feedback from the play area users has been really positive.
