Naturally playful outdoor equipment, handcrafted from FSC-certified timber in our Cornish family workshop.
Welcome to Outdoor Play People where we design outdoor play equipment that brings imagination, natural materials and proper outdoor fun together. We’re a friendly Cornwall based team that takes pride in creating bespoke timber structures for schools, farm parks, holiday parks and visitor attractions across mainland UK.
Everything we build is crafted to feel warm, reliable and inviting and most importantly to stand the test of time, whatever the weather throws at it. Children thrive outdoors and we want to create spaces where they can climb, explore, imagine and feel free to be themselves. That’s why our equipment is hand made right here in our workshops in Cornwall with almost 40 years of experience and craftsmanship behind every piece.
From green field empty site to completion, an update to your current area, a little query on some equipment to a complete rebuild, we’ll be right by your side.
Whether you are welcoming families, creating opportunities for outdoor learning or planning a community play space, we shape every project around the people who will use it.
From adventurous climbing structures to imaginative playhouses, explore the equipment made to make children want to get outside.

Many of our best selling vehicle items are place and play. You simply tell us the surface you will be placing them on and we build the correct frame for them. They are delivered safely and securely from Cornwall, ready for maximum smiles.
Our bespoke timber towers and play areas are installed on site by our expert team using hand selected Gold Award winning timber, galvanised feet and stainless-steel fixings. Most of our vehicle items are place and play: built in our workshop, delivered fully assembled and ready to position for maximum smiles.
Our family farm is high on the North Cornwall coast above the wild Atlantic, so we understand weather. We use Gold Award winning treated timber, galvanised or stainless-steel fixings and locally made rope components to create equipment designed for British conditions.
