Jungle Hut Toddler Towers at Kidzworld Adventureland

Kidzworld Adventureland, a popular indoor and outdoor play destination near St Austell, faced a common operational hurdle. Their existing outdoor zone featured a water play installation that was increasingly difficult and costly to maintain.

The goal was to replace the water feature with a high-value play installation specifically for their youngest visitors. However, the footprint was relatively small and constrained by a primary walkway running directly alongside it.

To create a meaningful play experience in a restricted space, we looked beyond the boundaries of the original water play area.

Our team identified that by incorporating the existing walkway into the footprint of the new scheme, we could create a much larger, more immersive experience without encroaching on the rest of the park. Given the lush, tropical surroundings of the site, we leaned into a Jungle theme to ensure the new towers felt like a natural extension of the Kidzworld brand.

We designed and installed a series of bespoke Jungle Huts, specifically scaled for toddlers. These towers offer a safe yet exciting environment for early-years development.

Key Features of the Design:

• Interlinking Traversing Routes: Multiple low-level bridges and walkways allow toddlers to navigate between huts, building confidence and motor skills.

• Themed Aesthetics: The huts feature rustic, jungle-inspired finishes to match the existing park environment.

• Low-Maintenance Durability: Replacing the complex water systems with high-quality timber and safety surfacing has significantly reduced the daily maintenance load for the Kidzworld team.

• Toddler-Specific Safety: Every element was designed with low fall heights and easy-grip features to ensure a safe environment for the park's youngest adventurers.

The transformation has turned a maintenance headache into a vibrant, revenue-generating area of the park that parents and children love.
